He leads a workers’ strike at the tombs, is captured by Assyrian tribesmen and enslaved, and intercepts an assassination attempt on Pharaoh Rameses III. In a quest for belonging, Uli strives to promote faith in the gods and devotion to the Pharaoh against the background of a crumbling society.
