James Stapleton

Author

James Stapleton is the author of Odd Man In, a noir-tinged crime thriller set in Silicon Valley, where wealth, ambition, family loyalties, and long-buried secrets collide.

A professional writer for more than 30 years, Stapleton is the author of two nonfiction books published by John Wiley & Sons, Practice Development and An Executive Guide to Knowledge Management. He also founded Santa Clara Press, a Silicon Valley publishing venture, and has written extensively on business and professional services.

A graduate of Santa Clara University, Stapleton's studies in criminal sociology and psychology sparked a lifelong fascination with the unwritten rules governing criminal enterprises and the complex relationships within criminal families. Those interests provide the foundation for the characters, loyalties, betrayals, and conflicts at the heart of the Odd Man In series.
He lives in Northern California.
