Retribution (Demons of the Past Book 3) by Ryk E. Spoor

Sasham Varan: A Fight for Freedom, a Battle for the Galaxy

Imprisoned as a hostage and reduced to a bargaining chip, Sasham Varan must place his trust in his allies—The Eonwyl, Sooovickalassa, and Guvthor Hok Guvthor—to uncover and prove the impossible truth: Prime Monitor Shagrath is no man but one of the legendary Demons, orchestrating the downfall of civilizations across the Galaxy.

If his friends succeed in exposing the truth and securing Varan’s freedom, the challenges ahead will only grow. With the Zchorada as tentative allies, they must rally the largest fleet the Galaxy has seen since the mythical days of Atlantaea to face the might of the Reborn Empire, Shagrath’s ultimate weapon.

Even then, victory is uncertain. To save tens of thousands of worlds, Varan must find a way to reveal Shagrath’s true nature to an Empire blinded by fear and loyalty. In the end, it will fall to Varan alone to confront the Demon himself—a final, desperate battle where the fate of the Galaxy hangs on the edge of victory or annihilation.
