About the Author
Heidi Gruber O’Very is a writer and home educator whose passion for storytelling spans plays and books. She volunteers teaching creative writing in prison and is an active adoption advocate. Inspired by her parents’ example, Heidi encourages children to look beyond themselves and notice the needs of others. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and four children.
