Histria Books is a publishing house, based in the United States, originally established in 1996, focused on publishing beautiful editions of books on all aspects of history, culture, lifestyle, literature, and more.
Histria Books is always looking for new authors from around the world. Please read our submission guidelines and contact us at info@histriabooks.com with manuscript proposals. We are not a vanity press and our authors pay no fees to publish their books. We publish high-quality books with great attention to detail. Our contributors are always closely involved throughout the publication and marketing process. We generally produce both hardcover and softbound editions of books that appear in our catalog. All authors also receive complimentary copies of their books.
We publish 10-15 new titles each year under our imprints Vita Histria, Gaudium, Addison & Highsmith, Histria Kids, and the Center for Romanian Studies. We strive to respond quickly and professionally to all manuscript proposals. All of our books are catalogued with the Library of Congress. Because of our commitment to quality and integrity in publishing, Histria Books is a proud member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).
We encourage foreign authors to submit manuscripts for publication in English. Although we do not offer translation services, we will work with you to edit the manuscript to ensure the best English language version of your manuscript possible.
Titles published under the imprints of Histria Books are distributed worldwide exclusively by the Casemate Group. Review copies of our titles are submitted to appropriate journals for review.
